About Hannah Bachelor
My name is Hannah, I was born in Petoskey Michigan and Moved to Florida in 2014, where I had my three children; Nila (7), Alina (5), and Keith (1). In East Lansing, MI, I obtained my Esthetician's License with Douglas J. Aveda Institute, where I graduated with honors in 2011.
Body Waxing has been my passion since I started getting brazilian waxes when I was 16, due to horrible razor burn and irritation from shaving. I performed my first Brazilian Wax/Bikini Wax when I was 18 years of age, clearly I have been hooked ever since!
In 2012 I started my first job as an Esthetician and Nail Technician in a small beauty salon performing Facials, Body Waxing, and Nail services. After working there for 3 years I was ready for a change of scenery and moved to Jacksonville, and got a job at The Wax Strip, ranked best waxing salon in Jacksonville in 2014.
In 2015 I became pregnant for my oldest daughter, Nila, and decided to move to Melbourne, Florida to be closer to my parents. The first year and half in Melbourne I worked in two different local salons, but couldn't seem to find my salon home. In 2016 I became pregnant with my second daughter, Alina, and knew it was time to start my own business!
In July, 2016 I gained The Wax Chic - Melbourne name and started booth renting in the salon I worked in. By September 2016 I was blessed to sign my first 3 year lease in my very own body waxing salon in Melbourne, Fl! I could not have done it without the unconditional love from my family.
To date, October 2023, I have been open and thriving for 7+ years, through all the hardships the past few years has brought our country. Body waxing has been my absolute passion for the last 12 years, Brazilian and Eyebrow Waxing are my specialty! I perform my waxing services with the utmost empathy for my clients and I welcome all shapes, sizes, colors, and genders!
